The Downtons are a 4-piece indie-rock band, hailing from the South Coast of the UK. Born between BCP and the New Forest quay-side town of Lymington, the band formed in Spring-time of 2024. Since then, they have embarked on gigs at Strings Venue in the Isle of Wight and the Lock Tavern in Camden town, making new contacts with other bands and more importantly bringing new followers along the way.
Sophie & The Sticks blend piano-driven soul-pop with sharp, honest storytelling. Their songs dig into heartbreak, healing, and the messiness in between, delivered with powerhouse vocals, lush arrangements, and a mischievous spark. Based in Gloucestershire but expanding into London and beyond, they’ve played to packed rooms across the South West and are currently working on their debut EP with support from a growing community of fans. Think Arctic Monkeys meets Amy Winehouse with a touch of Hiatus Kaiyote and musical theatre drama — catchy, raw, and unexpectedly joyful.
