FATEA Magazine described their 2023 album, Things That Matter, as “one of the best debut releases in the tradition genre”. Louise is a singer of the highest calibre. In 2023, she won the Audience Vote of the Great British Folk Festival and was also invited to join John McCusker, Michael McGoldrick and John Doyle as part of their UK tour at The Waterside, Sale and The Crescent, York. In January 2024, she headlined the UK West Coast Folk Festival, replacing an unavailable Cara Dillon, and was followed onstage by Richard Thompson. She was also selected to play on the Danny Kyle Open Stage at Celtic Connections.

Ross & the Hailstones are a London-based trio playing a blend of original and traditional material, steeped in the folk tradition but with their own signature twist. They consist of fiddle, cello and guitar with lots of three-part vocal harmonies and foot-stomping tune sets. Their debut album, From The Loft, was released in 2024.
