Traditional folk music from Simrit’s roots, Neo-Soul, Jazz, Roots Reggae, and Motown have deeply influenced Simrit as she developed her unique sound using her evocative and soaring vocals, harmonium, and keyboard.
Filling out the SIMRIT sound and experience is Salif Bamakora on the 21-string West African kora, Jared May on bass & Moog synthesizer, Devon Ashley on drums, and Heidi Gluck on keyboards and guitar.
