Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, W1D 4HT , [Venue Details]A much-awaited return of the very first classical night at Ronnie Scott’s, which ran between 2012-2019, led by Classical Kicks founder, and Co-Director of Ronnie Scott's Classical, Lizzie Ball.
This performance will feature the all-stars of the Classical Kicks family, including Gabi Swallow on cello, Miloš Milivojevic on accordion and James Turner on percussion.
Classical Kicks was one of the first alternative classical nights in London, and promoted a range of classical artists who also cross into other genres. The brand became synonymous with quality, good fun and an accessible approach to classical music, performing not only at Ronnie Scott’s but internationally, and with artists such as Rob da Bank (Bestival founder) and at many UK festivals including Henley, Lake District.
Classical Kicks will perform music by Piazzolla, Bartok, Gershwin, de Falla, and specially commissioned arrangements by Callum Au, James Pearson and Andrew Cottee.
