World premieres of short works for flute, viola and harp by Opus 1 composers Charlotte Botterill, Ansel Chaloner-Hughes, Aris Daryon, Rob Hughes, Sooji Seol and Elaina Sophie.
Britten Sinfonia is renowned for its commissioning of outstanding composers and nurturing of the next generation, having helped launch the careers of many composers over its 33-year history. Join them for the showcases of their two composer development schemes: Opus 1 for emerging composers and Magnum Opus for more experienced composers whose careers are ready to take flight.
The Opus 1 composers have worked with and received support from Britten Sinfonia musicians and programme director Dani Howard.
