Conceived as a 'Festival of Feeling' the residency explores the unique ability of songs to help us make sense of the limitless depth of our shared human experience.
Songs help us to understand ourselves, to make sense of the momentous and the mundane, but above all to articulate our feelings - the ones we can name and the ones we can’t, the ones we’re proud of and the ones that scare us. The Magic Lantern’s ‘Festival of Feeling’ celebrates the songs that bring us together and their ability to tell the truth, however difficult.
The Magic Lantern have invited a range of incredible songwriters from London, Brazil, Scotland, Sweden and beyond to join them over three nights that will be equally joyous and devastating.
