Sharlene has been part of the Ronnie Scott’s family for almost two decades as part of Natalie Williams’ Soul Family, and she is very proud to be performing in her own right Upstairs at Ronnie's.
After almost three decades into an amazingly successful musical career, performing with the likes of Emeli Sandé, Alicia Keys, and Gregory Porter, Sharlene decided to take a foray into musical theatre. Something she’d always wanted to do, she first auditioned for the West End musical Hairspray, and has not looked back since. Sharlene has performed in the West End in Standing At The Sky’s Edge, A Strange Loop, as well as nationally in Here & Now (The Steps Musical) and Disney’s Hercules, where she is currently portraying the role of Clio the Muse of History, at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.
Expect to hear songs from the worlds of gospel, R&B, soul as well as musical theatre as the band take a journey through Sharlene’s illustrious career, each stage marked with tales from her early life, her experiences in the West End, and the music industry.
