Akadem – this young band really wowed not just the Dublin Castle audience last time round, but also the staff. No mean feat! Some remarkable covers tackled brilliantly, and impressive original material too. A refreshing take on alternopop.
Lazy Wires - hipster boogie woogie! Imagine Kings Of Leon hail from Deptford or Darlington, take on a bit of Grandaddy/Dandy Warhols cool and grind out edgy rock roll in a nigh on Quo like manner. Well, that.
