Following the release of their debut album What Might Have Been in January 2026, the Oli Fitzgerald Trio has quickly made a name for themselves with inventive interpretations of both classic and contemporary jazz.
The group blends contrapuntal interplay and melodic invention, drawing on influences like Charlie Haden, Carla Bley, Kit Downes, and the great piano trio tradition of Chick Corea, Keith Jarrett, and Bill Evans.
Whenever this band plays, it is all about making great music with depth, control and energy, executed with elegance. Years of performing together have honed a chemistry that allows spontaneous musical dialogues to unfold naturally. Not to be missed.
Late Late Shows on Wednesday nights are led by a host of leading jazz players who will present their own bands, followed by a jam for invited guests.
