He has been delighted to see the interest in this new series, and looks forward to bringing this season to a close with these two mighty guests on the 19th April.
Gary Connolly
Born into a musical family (his father Pat Connolly is the acclaimed multi All Ireland winning Sean-nós singer from Gleann Catha), Gary began playing the accordion at the age of twelve. He has gone on to be a prominent figure on the London Irish music scene, hosting the weekly session at The Auld Triangle in North London for almost 20 years, and playing in the Gasra na nGael Céilí band for 25 years. He has performed solo concerts at the Return to Camden Town festival and has appeared on Irish TV’s Ardàn and Ceolaireacht (TG4). Gary can often be heard playing at sessions in London with his wife Teresa and their children Ben and Ella.
