T
he Brand New Heavies, architects of the acid jazz movement, have captivated audiences for over three decades with their unique blend of funk, soul and jazz. With 16 UK Top 40 singles and over 2.5 million records sold worldwide, their influence is undeniable. Fresh from a sold-out performance at the Royal Albert Hall, celebrating the 30th anniversary of their platinum-certified album Brother Sister, they bring their legendary live sound to the intimate setting of Boisdale as part of our Burns Week celebrations.
Expect an unforgettable night where the spirit of Scotland meets the sounds of London’s acid jazz pioneers, with great food, fine whisky and plenty of Boisdale revelry setting the scene. Live renditions of classics including “Dream On Dreamer”, “Midnight at the Oasis” and “Never Stop” will be delivered with the energy, musicianship and finesse that only true legends possess — with the pipes, whisky and Burns Week magic adding a distinctly Scottish twist to proceedings.
