Brother May + Zeynep Ağcabay + Solomon Garçon

Cafè Oto, E8 3DL , [Venue Details]

Archaic Vaults brings together three artists from across the spectrum of experimentation, with all proceeds going towards Medical Aid For Palestine and the Lebanese Red Cross.

Saturday,
8 Feb 2025
@7.30pm

This event is part of a trilogy across Lisbon, London and Berlin that supplements the fourth edition in the label's compilation series 'Continuing A Worn Out Tradition', with all funds from record sales split between the same charities.

Since recording the Chopped and Screwed Mixtape with Micachu and the Shapes and the London Sinfonietta, Brother May has worked with a varied cast of sonic pioneers, including Joe Goddard of Hot Chip, Matthew Herbert, Ben Vince, Kwes, Moor Mother, Tirzah and Kate Tempest while supporting visionary artists such as Ryuichi Sakomoto, Arca, Charles Hayward and Mount Kimbie at sold-out London dates: his endeavours haven’t gone unnoticed either, with publications like FACT Magazine and The Fader paying close attention, as well as radio support from NTS and BBC Radio 6.

Born and raised in Istanbul, Zeynep Ağcabay's music explores the juxtaposition of Eastern and Western influences on their identity. Growing up with traditional Turkish music playing at home, Zeynep went on to discover new roots in London.

Solomon Garçon is a multidisciplinary artist. He also makes music solo and with John T Gast as ‘Do u want to move back to ldn’
