Paper Dress Vintage, E8 1HR , [Venue Details]Flash Delirium & Paper Dress Live proudly presents a fab night of incredibly unique music going from old school rock, post-punk, noise and mesmerizing psych with Dura Mater, Honest Work & Free Zorba The Hooligan.
After forming in 2022, the Chamber-Rock group gained an instant live reputation in Nottingham with notable support slots including The Murder Capital and Geese.
On their long awaited debut single, lead singer Ben Preston sites vocal inspiration from early Black Country, New Road and Ethan P-Flynn; A mellow, frustrated delivery. All the while keys, guitar, violin and trumpet surround him making for a truly grand sonic experience. Preston’s charming vocals along with a range of instruments offer an ever-expanding soundscape.
Honest Work, brandish themselves a rock band, but dashed underneath their hard rock overtones lays a more considered approach. Twisting and turning through elements of garage rock and metal, Honest Work hit you where it sticks. Their sound is direct, and even brash at times, but the chaos is kept in check by a love for the old school.
FREE ZORBA THE HOOLIGAN are an ALT PUNK band from the UK and France formed in 2024. Consisting of lead voca list Niko May, guitarists Alex Cachia and Yo Badorc, bassist Edd Paul and drummer Tom Taddei Davies, the band will release BURNER, its first EP in early 2025.
In early 2024 to create music that would go « louder and deeper».
