The ensemble comprise a shifting lineup of performers under the creative direction of trumpet-player Jack Jones.

They have commissioned and performed scores from artists such as Graham Lambkin, Regan Bowering, Rory Salter, Max Syedtollan, Eli Winter, Russell Walker, John Burgess and Ash Reid, Sally Plowman, and Worstie.
