Come and enjoy a playful and energetic collaboration between Indian dancers and musicians that highlights the rhythmic play between the ancient and the modern.

Four musicians – including a beatboxer, a saxophonist and a traditional Karnatik vocalist – perform alongside four Kathak and Bharatanatyam dancers.

This innovative classical Indian production has been conceptualised and created by award-winning choreographer Nina Rajarani MBE, and music composer Yadav Yadavan.

The first performance is followed by a free dance and beatbox workshop led by members of the company, suitable for different levels of dance ability and experience.

Schedule

  • 2pm – 2.30pm: performance
  • 2.30pm – 3.15pm: free participatory workshop
  • 5pm – 5.30pm: performance (repeat)
