A night of gorgeous songwriting by DG and special guests, delivered with Green’s unique tenor and sung with some of the finest voices and musicians around. Musical guests to be confirmed soon.
Danny Green is a songwriter known as DG Solaris. Originally from West Yorkshire, he came of age in an exploding musical scene in Brighton in the mid 2000s. He was part of the Willkommen Collective whose most notable members include The Leisure Society, Sons of Noel and Adrian and Green’s first own band, Laish. After delivering four albums of wry, lushly orchestrated albums of folk pop and touring tirelessly, he moved to Somerset, started a family and changed his name to DG Solaris. He founded Night River in 2022, a series of magically intimate micro concerts in Frome, hosting the best songwriters in the country and often musically collaborating with them.
