Tales of Timeless Tim with Tim Hain and Jamside Up

Riverside Studios, W6 9BN , [Venue Details]

Tales Of Timeless Tim is the first release from the “Van Morrison of Bleggae” (blues/reggae), a title bestowed upon him by Chris Kimsey who mentored and mixed this collection, and also produced the Rolling Stones, Jimmy Cliff, Peter Frampton and Peter Tosh.

Saturday,
3 May 2025
@7.15pm

The first single, Sister Rosetta, made the Mike Read Heritage Chart, and was voted “Record Of The Week” by New Dawn’s “Jukebox Judgment” panel, with Steve Lillywhite calling it a “great record”. It features the fine co-vocal and guitar of Ese Okorodudu, front-lady of Voodoo People, and a reggae rhythm section which includes keyboard player Phil Ramocon (Jimmy Cliff, Bob Marley).

Tim has flown under the radar for far too long. He has played guitar with the best on both sides of the Atlantic, touring and recording with reggae greats Tyrone Taylor, Winston Reedy, and Carroll Thompson, performing with Zakiya (daughter of John Lee) Hooker, and jammed with Jeff Beck. He honed his craft fronting 2000 gigs since the turn of the century, published a Telegraph nominated book of his own motor racing photos with Sir Stirling Moss, and built his own studio in a converted garage.

Having hit 70, Tim is vying to beat Seasick Steve for the most senior career launch ever!
