Charlie Bucket, Veruca Salt, Violet Beauregarde, Mike Teavee and Augustus Gloop arrive with their family members, eager to explore a magical world of chocolate, candy and Everlasting Gobstoppers – but behind Wonka’s doors lies something more sinister than just sweet delights. As they venture deeper into the factory, they soon learn that nobody will leave quite the same as they arrived…
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a musical based on the classic Roald Dahl novel, with a book by David Greig, music by Marc Shaiman and lyrics by Shaiman, and Scott Wittman. Performed by our Musical Theatre students, this bold and eccentric reimagining of Dahl’s beloved story proves that nothing compares with a world of Pure Imagination.
