Widely admired for her insightful performances of the classics, Fliter is also renowned for her exceptional affinity with the music of Chopin. This passion is reflected in her choice of the epic B minor piano sonata, one of the composer’s towering achievements. Two highly inventive sonatas by Beethoven, full of ebullient energy will open the recital in style.
To begin the evening, we hear from London Piano Festival curators and performers Charles Owen & Katya Apekisheva in conversation with Classical podcaster and radio producer Ella Lee. They will be discussing this year’s 10th Anniversary programme, upcoming highlights and recollections of their previous festivals.
This event will last approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, including an interval.
