The Gold Medal 2025 Guildhall School's prestigious prize for musicians
Barbican Hall, EC2Y 8DS , [Venue Details]The final of Guildhall School's most prestigious music prize, offering the chance to enjoy songs and arias performed by three outstanding Guildhall vocalists in front of an esteemed panel of judges.
Guildhall School’s premier music prize was founded in 1915 and since the 1950s it has been open to singers and instrumentalists in alternate years.
This year three exceptional singers will perform with piano and Guildhall Symphony Orchestra conducted by Jonathan Stockhammer, who also premiere HOLME by Guildhall alumni Ben Pease Barton and David Bottomley.
Previous Gold Medal include Jacqueline du Pré OBE (1960), Tasmin Little CBE (1986), Sir Bryn Terfel CBE (1989).
