UK-based Naarm/Melbourne artist Audrey Powne is a future jazz and soul force.

Described as "The Very Brilliant Audrey Powne," by legendary BBC Radio 6presenter and tastemaker Gilles Peterson, Trumpeter and vocalist Audrey Powne is known equally for her extraordinary technical skills and creative inventiveness, and for being unafraid of pushing the boundaries while simultaneously keeping musical traditions alive.

In 2024 she released her debut album From the Fire under UK label BBE, which received wide spread, critical acclaim, featuring on major radio stations and playlists and including nominations for the Australian Music Prize and an ARIA award for best Jazz album.

In addition to her solo work her prowess as a trumpeter has seen her perform with artist including Jose Gonzalez, Midnight Oil, Maceo Parker and she is currently touring with The Teskey Brothers.
