A stripped back version of the band taking U on a journey of deep cuts and funky grooves from the back catalogue of possibly the most prolific artist to ever walk a stage. No Purple Rain, 1999 or Little Red Corvette 2nite...come learn some new jams.
NEW PURPLE CELEBRATION, formed in 2004 have toured extensively over the years and throughout that time have always tried to embody the essence of a pure prince Show, wall to wall Musiclogy to keep the crowds on their feet. One of the only shows outside Europe with a guitar, keys and drumkit playing ‘Prince’, the band is fronted by founder - member JIMI LOVE.
Backed by top quality musicians, a totally live gig experience, vocals, guitars, keys, horns, but absolutely no backing tracks, which has been the mantra since the band’s inception.
