A chance to hear some of the music of last night’s Prom – including excerpts from Holst’s awe-inspiring The Planets and music from John Williams’s mighty Star Wars soundtracks – in a more relaxed and family-friendly environment, presented by Radio 3’s Linton Stephens and musicians from the National Youth Orchestra.
This is a relaxed performance, designed to suit individuals or groups who feel more comfortable attending concerts in an informal environment. There is a relaxed attitude to noise and audience members are free to leave and re-enter the auditorium at any point. Chill-out areas offer a space for anyone who needs some quiet time before or during the performance.
