Every week for the past eight or so years, we have been running our New Moon discovery nights.
These nights offer up-and-coming artists from around the world the chance to perform on our stage and learn their craft whilst also allowing attendees to see undiscovered, raw talent.
We have hand-picked some of our favourite artists to perform to you on a Friday night - allowing as many people as possible to witness how much local talent pass through Grassroots Music Venues.
From the hustle and bustle of South London, Bea Maher's musical journey began as a fusion of the vibrant sounds and eclectic cultures that surrounded her. Influenced by the soulful rhythms pulsing through the city and inspired by the storytelling prowess of legendary artists such as Amy Winehouse, Lianne La Havas and Cleo Sol, Bea found her voice in the heart of funk and soul.
Jacob Coley is an Alt-Rock artist based in Manchester. His sensitive introspective songwriting meets his band’s expansive and atmospheric sound; reminiscent of Ben Howard, Coldplay and The War on Drugs.
Indie-rock outfit The Rackets began playing London’s live-music circuit while still underage. They have since headlined iconic venues such as Camden Assembly, The Fiddler, and The Amersham Arms.
