Laenz expands upon the soundscapes forged on her debut album ’88 keys’, featuring experiments with radio transmission, dubbed out sonics, guitar and vocals. Xenia Xamanek presents a collaged expression of album ‘Germinate [Imprint] Wilt [Stay]’ seeing classic oratorio and opera transformed into haunting sonic sketches and leaky modes of storytelling around “cuentos y leyendas de honduras”.
Laenz is a producer based in Brooklyn, NY, working within radiophonic textures and caliginous dance music. Her work explores the sonification of indeterminate spaces, saturating abstract musical forms with intensely tender and personal observations.
