Manchester's alternative rock and shoegaze heavyweights, cruush, craft a unique and intense sound, blending darkwave nursery rhymes and tension-fueled guitar into a sonic landscape of beauty and noise.
The band’s distinctive identity took shape during an impromptu jam session in a yellowing university dorm, where they laid the foundation for their signature style. Together the quartet create delay-soaked melodies and muscular tones that have captivated audiences, broadcasters, and journalists alike.
Their music has received airplay on BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, and Radio X, while earning acclaim from publications such as Consequence of Sound, The Independent, NME, DIY, Dork, and Clash, among others.
Following tours with BDRMM, NewDad, and Pale Blue Eyes, as well as a successful headline UK tour, cruush released their debut EP, Wishful Thinker, in 2023 via Heist or Hit (Her's, Two Blinks, I Love You). Their sophomore EP, Nice Things Now, All the Time, followed in April 2024, further establishing them as a band with a distinctive voice and growing presence in the indie rock and shoegaze scene.
