Eliza Delf & The Wilderness
The Dublin Castle, NW1 7AN , [Venue Details]Eliza Delf & The Wilderness with a new single, Don’t Love Me Lightly, just emerged , are a fascinating proposition.
A great song it is too, a darkly brooding and untamed slice of gothic folk rock with an indie heart. Recently released also is their new album Feast. Neo folk with contemporary references, all served up with a noirish beauty.
The iii’s – indie rock with a soupcon of Grunge and Punk but also a touch of shoegaze, sorta reminiscent of ‘90s lurchgaze heroes Swervedriver in places…
The Cellar Doors- Hooky indie pop with some neat harmonies and bright and breezy guitar lines shored up by a musically tight yet loose limbed rhythm section.
Lee Michael Stevens - excellent singer songwriter tapping into Brit Rock greats (The Gallaghers, The Verve, Stevie Marriot etc) but very much his own man.
