MISTY IN ROOTS 50th anniversary show
Following the huge success of last year’s London show at the Electric Ballroom, reggae legends – Misty In Roots return to Camden Town’s iconic ballroom, to celebrate their 50th anniversary. The show will also be the official London launch party for the reissue of their classic and much sought after debut album – ‘Live at the Counter Eurovision’ and star Pama Int’l and special guests tba.
Misty In Roots originally formed in 1975 to back Trojan Records star – Nicky Thomas (famed for his Love of The Common People Top 10 single). It wasn’t long however that Misty In Roots started to develop their iconic roots reggae sound and come 1979, the band released their debut album – Live at the Counter Eurovision, which is widely acknowledged as one of the greatest live albums recorded.
2025 celebrates 50 years of Misty In Roots with select shows and the reissue of their much sought after back catalogue, starting with their classic debut album this August.
