J.V.C. FORCE came to prominence in 1987 with the release of the perennial Hip Hop classic 'Strong Island' which peaked at #59 in the UK charts. Their debut LP 'Doin' Damage' (1988) was followed up in 1990 with 'Force Field' on Warlock Records before the group split in 1992.
BLADE is widely recognized as being the first British rapper to have released a double album on a fully independent label.
The BLADE album with MARK B in 2000 helped elevate the profile of UK Hip Hop selling well over 50,000 copies. An appearance on Top of the Pops and a tour supporting Eminem followed.
