Classically-trained pianist turned synthesiser wielder, Laurie Black been described as the “lovechild of Victoria Wood and Gary Numan”, known for her fusion of musical comedy and live synths, she's recently created ‘Deadly Synths’ an hour long Ted-Talk-gig about the history of electronic music. You may have seen her playing keys for The Men That Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing, Anya Anastasia’s Rogue Romantic, and Briefs' Sweatshop, and more recently supporting Adam Ant on his UK Antics tour.
