Secret Affair were formed by Ian Page and David Cairns from the ashes of Power Pop band New Hearts. Secret Affair built their reputation with sell out shows at the Bridge House in Canning Town, London and with a high profile support slot on The Jam's 1979 tour.

Secret Affair went on to have 5 x Top 40 singles and 3 acclaimed LP's released before splitting in 1982.

The Vapors are a new wave band who formed in 1978. Discovered by Bruce Foxton of The Jam (who went on to be their co-manager with John Weller), The Vapors released the classic singles Turning Japanese, News at Ten, Jimmie Jones, Prisoners, Waiting for the Weekend, Spiders and two LP’s Magnets and New Clear Days before splitting in 1982.
