*** The Playboys - LONDON RETURN GIG!
The band was originally formed in January 1986, yes, that’s 39 years ago. The idea was that of
Dave Begent, who asked Rob Glazebrook if he would play guitar with him and Kev Clark (drums),
and the ethos of the group was to play, simply, wild Rock ‘n’ Roll + Rockabilly and choose songs
that were not being covered and write their own.
*** The Escobars - DEBUT LODON GIG!
Escobar’s formed mid 2022..A Rockin fuson of Rock n roll and rockabilly covers not regularly heard, with some self written songs played for good measure.. James Steele lead vocals.. Trevor Coveney Double Bass.. Robert James Hines lead guitar.. Crag Shape Drums. They will be kicking off this fantastic night with a wild rockin' set so arrive early and do not miss these guys!
