The Old Blue Last, EC2A 3ES , [Venue Details]Bones Ate Arfa are a psychedelic street punk/desert rock three piece from Brighton UK, made up of Bones (guitar), 8 (drums), and Arfa (vocals & bass).
Once described as “Junkyard dog riffs” after the release of their debut single ‘Asbestos’, they have since gained recognition online and in person from Artists such as Muse, Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit), Isaac Holman (SOFT PLAY), Royal Blood, Tigercub, cool sorcery, Demob Happy, and Bad Nerves.
Proving themselves as a not so ordinary punk rock band, the members of Bones Ate Arfa exist both as real people and as cartoon characters in their music videos and self made comic books, such as ‘Akimbo People Official Graphic Novel’ and ‘Just Bananas - The Potassium Pursuit’.
While attaining a respectable following on social media, they have received spins and features on Clash Magazine, BBC Radio 6, Radio X, Dork, Earmilk, Louder Than War, and have successfully burned their stamp into the UK’s southern gig circuit, all in under two years.
Bones Ate Arfa are back in the big smoke baby! After touring their second EP 'Just Bananas' across the UK in the spring of 2025 the band are back with a brand new single 'It's All Good', and they're bringing it to The Old Blue Last on the 29th of August. Joined by grunge trio Torus, and paper machet helmet-wearing indie outfit Nobody's Dad.
