Mafagafonia is a not-for-profit cultural and community organisation, directed by Magali Hochberg and Thais Preece. Mafagafonia is specialised in promoting Brazilian culture in the UK through high-quality artistic programmes and cultural events. In 2024, Mafagafonia embraced Canto dos Mafagafos — a well-established initiative that, for over five years, has been developing content, projects and experiences focused on art, culture and family entertainment with special attention to migrant communities. Recognised as a leading voice in the sector, Mafagafonia combines excellence in cultural production with a genuine commitment to social impact.
