Indian-American pianist Rishi Mirchandani made his solo debut with the Grammy Award-winning Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra at 18, after amassing six gold medals in major national and international competitions. He has performed internationally to critical acclaim, with four appearances at Carnegie Hall by the age of 12 and concerts across Europe and the US.
A summa cum laude graduate in mathematics from Yale University, he also studied piano with Elizabeth Parisot and founded the Yale Undergraduate Piano Collective. He later earned his master’s at the Manhattan School of Music, followed by a Professional Studies Diploma from Mannes, where he won the Steinway Award for artistic excellence.
