While primarily a legal reference library today, its diverse historical holdings reflect the Inn's original role as a "third university" offering a broad education beyond law, including pursuits like music. This concert sheds light on the Inn's centuries-old musical tradition, highlighted by the survival of a receipt from John Dowland himself for performances here in 1613.
