MANZANA TROPICAL
Is an exciting new Latin act from London playing the form of Peruvian Cumbia known as Chicha. Having been brought up immersed in London's thriving Latin American musical community young musicians Manuy and Cleyder Figueroa began the project inspired by the heritage of their motherland in Peru.
Their music incorporates a homage to classic Peruvian acts including Grupo Nectar, Los Pakines and Chacalon as well as Latin legends such as Santana combined with a strong London sensibility.
Manzana's live set comprises some reinterpretations of Chicha classics and some original songs.
Paskal Rough & Tough (Cool Breeze)
Paskal is a music enthusiast and record collector of variegated music genres, with a main focus on the vintage sounds of the 60s and 70s from Jamaica, the Caribbean and Latin America.
