es.cher
Shacklewell Arms, E8 2EB , [Venue Details]Burying emotion under layers of distortion, overlapping instrumentation and maximalist production, es.cher’s sonic world balances moments of softness and abrasion, chaos and control, suspended somewhere between the real and surreal.
Whether they’re innovating within their own artistic output or writing and performing guitar for artists from Halsey (The Great Impersonator) to Skepta (48 Hours), it’s a sound that’s shapeshifting and elusive, but distinctly their own.
After growing a dedicated fan base through guitar performances watched by millions online, and honing their artistic identity through their 2023 debut genr.es (let go/what breaks-1) and 2024 EP 01.3 (featuring stratospheric slowcore, midwest emo song “pinwheel”), es.cher is their most vulnerable but assured self on debut due for release September 26th 2025. The project features collaborations from Samuel Organ, Cajm, PC Music’s ultra caro and more.
