Shoreditch Town Hall, Assembly Hall, EC1V 9LT , [Venue Details]Recent prizewinners at the prestigious York International Young Artists Competition, Apollo's Cabinet returns to the London Handel Festival with a special relaxed performance of their much-loved re:invention programme.
London Handel Festival relaxed performances are intended for anyone who needs a more informal setting to enjoy our events, primarily people with disabilities, health conditions, and other access needs. We welcome audiences to come as they are, encouraging everyone to relax and respond to the performance in their own way, which may include making noise and
moving freely.
The auditorium and be sensory adapted to support anyone who would benefit from a less formal environment in which to enjoy the performance.
This could include neurodiverse audiences, those living with dementia, people with learning disabilities, Tourettes Syndrome, and families with young children. These performances can also be helpful for people who experience anxiety around sensory stimuli and spatial restrictions, or who suffer from bowel and bladder conditions, as the audience will be free to leave and re-enter the auditorium during the performance.
