Alongside motets by Palestrina, Gibbons, Eccard, Hassler and Sweelinck, Londinium performs a particularly fine sequence of contemporary works by Joanna Marsh, Tarik O'Regan, Jaakko Mäntyjärvi, Ben Rowarth and Simon Beattie, often drawing on resonant texts by modern poets. Completing the programme are irresistible carols by Howells and Joubert, and the world premiere of Natus by António Sá-Dantas.
