The evening will feature Julieta’s unique arrangements on works by Astor Piazzolla and Charly Garcia, mixing classical, jazz, rock and world music, on a delicate, passionate and virtuous performance. Starting with a solo piano set which has been successfully presented in the US, Europe and Latin America, followed by a piano trio set which will spice things up with tango, Latin american and progressive rhythms.
Julieta Iglesias is an Argentine pianist based in London. Classically trained, she has been performing for more than twenty years around Europe, the US and Argentina playing classical, tango and popular music.
Her first steps into composition were as an arranger, recording the album ‘Astor‘ in 2018, which is a tribute to the accomplished tango composer Astor Piazzolla. Then she continued with Charly Garcia and Seru Giran’s music, releasing two volumes of ‘Londres suena a Seru’ in 2021 and 2024. Back to her first influence, Julieta launched ‘Piazzolla Passion’ in 2023, including works for 2 pianos, duo, quartet and quintet. Her innovative and creative piano arrangements have been acclaimed by the audience and well-known music critics.
