Beefcake
This new artistic force is defined by an immersive blend of music and visual art, brought to life by the distinctive talents of Dora and Nuch. For Dora, music is an organic process; everyday inspirations, voice notes, and a constant flow of ideas from books, television, and day-to-day form the centre of her creative expression. Dystopian novels and the works of Edgar Allan Poe and Kazuo Ishiguro add weight to her lyrics, whilst cartoons and art create a sense of adventure.
Orchid
Pop maximalist Orchid, is a London based singer, writer, producer, and visual artist. Inspired by the likes of Blackout era Britney and left-field icons such as SHYGIRL, Grimes, ROSALIA, Janet Jackson; a life of reading Persian poetry and running from waitressing shifts to club shows to heels dance classes in the city, Orchid is spreading her roots firmly from the underground.
Orchid was shot by RANKIN for Hunger’s Class of 2024, and in the same year played her biggest shows to date, at iconic London venues such as Dalston Superstore and The Glove That Fits.
