Established in 2008, the Peter Hulsen Orchestral Song Award is a biannual competition for outstanding graduate singers embarking on the profession. Previous winners, including Lotte Betts-Dean, Soraya Mafi, Božidar Smiljanić, and Gavan Ring, have gone on to perform title roles with leading opera companies, including English National Opera, Bavarian State Opera, and the Royal Opera House, and appear on the world’s most celebrated stages.
The competition will take place during Spring 2026. More details and information on how to enter will available soon.
