Lemondaze: Subtext EP Launch
George Tavern, E1 0LA , [Venue Details]Swirling guitars and cascading drums, combined with a strong stance on cis and non-cis genders and sexualities - Cambridge quartet Lemondaze have fast become one of the most intriguing and exciting bands to emerge from the UK underground.
Their debut EP ‘Celestial Bodies’ is a testament to this. Thanks to a hushed female vocal layered over a distorted backdrop that has been likened to artists ranging from Deftones to My Bloody Valentine. Lemondaze have previously supported the likes of Ride, Just Mustard, deathcrash, bdrmm, Dream Wife, trauma ray and Miki Berenyi. The band have featured at festivals such as Green Man and Wild Paths.
This is a special show to celebrate the release of their incredible second EP, ‘subtext’, on Venn Records.
