The Dumb Blondes:
The planet's greatest queer DIY punk Dolly Parton tribute band, The Dumb Blondes, was brought together by seven Dolly fans (made up of members of Fightmilk, Panic Pocket, Charley Stone, among others) with their roots firmly in London's DIY music scene. Armed with a cursed banjo and a dream, The Dumb Blondes pay tribute to Queen Dolly herself through passionate, occasionally chaotic, sets of Dolly's best-loved songs. They've never met a Dolly song they didn't like (except Me & Little Andy). Following a string of sold out shows, they can't wait to hit the Lexington for a night of camp country magic.
Mother Lori Mae:
Lori Mae is East London’s premier Showgirl/Cowgirl, she is the mother of The Maeson and a regular nuisance at Nikki’s Bar, Dalston Superstore and The Karaoke Hole.
Lori Mae first “rose” to “fame” with her hit song “Douche”, an important PSA for the queer community. Since then, she has produced successful cabaret shows such as Dragú, the UK’s first All-Italian Queer Cabaret. She has also produced and hosted countless queer nightlife events, such as Testo Hunkie and Fussy, and has performed in at least 2 foreign countries.
