Simo Lagnawi S.I.M.O is the Ambassador of Gnawa Culture in the UK and charismatic creator and leader of the band. He has appeared on BBC World Service, BBC Proms, CNN World, BBC Radio 3 and Vox Africa and performed at a host of festivals including Glastonbury, Womad, Secret Garden Party, Latitude and Boomtown!

Support on the night comes from Lancaster singer-songwriter Tilda Gebhardt, now based in South London. Tilda excels at poetic storytelling chronicling her experiences growing up in the countryside of Northwest England, and unique piano melodies. Her debut album, ‘Come the Afternoon’, released this year, features captivating narratives and a sound that draws lines between the likes of Joni Mitchell and Joanna Newsom.
