Hidden Tracks is best described as a cross between Desert Island Discs, TED Talks and The Moth.
First, you hear someone’s story of a life-changing relationship with a piece of music, then you hear that song played out, sometimes live. As part of this special edition for Montreux Jazz Festival, each story and song takes its own journey to explore what jazz is today.
With Hidden Tracks, the process is just as important as the performance – through workshops and tailored writing sessions, people from any walk of life are helped to develop and share their own story, which marks a transformation in their life, to leave a lasting impression on yours.
