After honing his craft in Los Angeles, Tjoe settled in the UK with a singular mission: to create a collective that bridges the gap between Eastern roots and Western grooves.
The result is NTBM (Not To Be Missed) - less a traditional band and more a living musical diary. What started as a creative experiment has evolved into a powerhouse collective of top-tier London talent, translating Tjoe’s life experiences into an explosive mix of urban jazz, fusion, and soul.
This core unit has taken their "East-Meets-West" sound from underground jam sessions to the legendary stage of Ronnie Scott’s and a breakout performance at the Love Supreme Festival 2024 and EFG London Jazz Festival 2025
In 2025, the collective reached new heights with a trilogy of singles that showcase their evolving narrative: the high-octane You Want Some? the atmospheric, fan-favorite Purple Skyline (featuring Natalie Oliveri), and the sun-soaked, groove-heavy Caribbean Sunset (featuring J_Colurz). Together, these tracks prove that the NTBM story is one that continues to push the boundaries of the modern jazz scene.
