Jamboree, WC1X 9HH , [Venue Details]

A Saturday night where Latin American women gather to celebrate memory and collective strength, featuring the fantastic Afro-Brazilian beats band Let Drum Beat, the multidisciplinary Latinx drum collective Las Witchas and the various performers of Palacio de Poetas.

Saturday,
7 Mar 2026
@8.30pm

The night is part of our weekend line-up dedicated to women in promotion.

Headliners Let Drum Beat are a London-based band led by female percussionists, heavily influenced by Brazilian and Afro-Brazilian rhythms. Fresh from their latest release ‘Aburá’ (see below), they create a space of collective energy, exploring sisterhood through music.

In support, Las Witchas are a multidisciplinary arts collective of Latin American women fusing Afro-Latin rhythms with poetry, dance and performance. The band experiment with new sounds, share urgent political and social issues, and honour the cultural keepers of our territories.

There will also be a variety of spoken word from the Palacio de Poetas, providing an artistic platform empowering Spanish and Spanglish-speaking poets through multidisciplinary work including poetry, music and cinematic storytelling. Palacio de Poetas create inclusive artistic communities in spaces in London and beyond where artists can connect.
