Just like the sea, our music is shaped by continuous change: we share a deep passion for unpredictability and a spirit of experimentation. With a playful approach, we create a captivating and intimate evening of collective improvisation – a musical rise and fall that will never repeat itself in the same way. Each performance is like a new wave: unique, vibrant, and carried by the energy of the moment.
The trio was formed in London while Berlin-based drummer Finn Seemann was studying there. During this time, Finn connected with guitarist Toby Evans and tenor saxophonist Zac Taylor-Schindler who had already been working together extensively during their time together at the Royal Academy of Music. Since forming, TIDE have performed sold-out shows at venues across the UK and Germany.
